Sand Filled Cotton Panel Hacky Sack Footbag Soft Stall Style Large Version

These traditional cotton panel hacky sacks aka. footbags are filled with fine sand and reinforced with a durable black inner lining beneath the five-panel cotton exterior.

Designed for players who prefer a softer footbag, these are filled to approximately 65%, making them ideal for stalls, freestyle tricks, and controlled play. Unlike firm, fully stuffed footbags, they offer excellent control.  BUT, the wide width makes they harder to miss a return kick, for less experienced players players

Because these footbags are filled with natural sand, a small amount of sand may gradually seep through over time, especially with heavy use. They may also develop a slight sandy scent after being kicked around. Many players consider this part of the character and charm of a traditional sand-filled footbag.

Suitable for freestyle play, stalls, and casual kicking sessions.

Each footbag is handmade by my artisan partner, Graicela, in her home workshop in Tijuana, Mexico, just across the border from San Diego, where I live. Because every hacky sack is individually crafted, slight variations in size, weight, firmness, and appearance are normal and help make each one unique.

I use Ikat cotton fabric made in Guatemala, and known there as Jaspeado ( Jaspe) fabric there. It's hand loomed fabric unique to Guatemala, which I export to Tijuana for production. I like it since it adds character.
